8 reading tips on a vulnerable ecosystem

Whether wild forest or forestry: our book and magazine recommendations provide important knowledge for all forest lovers.

Forests and forests are the green lungs of our earth, they are a habitat for plants and animals and invite us to walk, hike and discover. But they also provide us with resources such as building materials and heating material – and are threatened by climate change, clear-cutting and pests such as the bark beetle.

What is the state of nature and wilderness in our forests and forests? How does this complex ecosystem work? And how can forestry help preserve this green legacy? Our reading tips below provide answers to these questions and a wealth of knowledge about forestry.

1. “Forest Nature”

In “Waldnatur” the natural scientist and best-selling author Josef H. Reichholf takes us on a journey into local forests and shows us their biological diversity.
